Greetings to all our members and friends of Kansas Baptist Church,

It is always a joy to bring good news and I hope as you read this newsletter that you will be blessed and filled with joy.
It has been an exciting month for us at Kansas Baptist Church. Our first Youth night service was great. The youth were in charge of the service. We want to give them the opportunity to develop their gifts.

The youth group sang a song together. Christy Smith sang two solos. Charles Ivey Jr. brought a message about being fishers of men. After the service we all enjoyed pizza, fun and games in the gym. .

Saturday, February 12th was our Valentine Banquet. We had a great time together with good attendance. The puppets put on a great program and everyone enjoyed the food, fun, and fellowship.

Please check the following names. If you have made a donation to the Family Life Center in honor of or in memory of someone and the name is not listed, please call me at 221-7660. We appreciate each donation and do not want to leave any name off our record.

Project Report: We are happy to report that the pastorium has sold. The Church received a check for $51,604.00 on February 14th. The buyer of the house and property gave the Church $50,001 dollars, then made a donation to the family Life Center of $1,603.00 designated for two by fours. We appreciate Steve and Jill Cox for their generosity. We also have a $500 dollar pledge for two by fours. A special donation of $1,050 was made to complete the walks around the building. When the walks are completed we will have a four hundred feet outside walking track around the building. The total of donations to the Family Life Center for the month of February was $2,285.00 plus $4.39 in interest.

The total for the month of February including the sale of the house and property was $53,893.39. Our total owed to FNB at the present is $26,793.94. We have a total of $14,452.53 in the building fund. The total raised as of February 28th is $183,612.79.

How amazing it is that God would bless us to the extent that He has. How good He is when His children place their trust totally in Him and step out in faith. We never knew how many people, like many of you, were waiting to be a part of something solid for Him. Willing to pray, encourage and give to this work. How thankful we are to Christ and you for your part in this project.

We look forward to our Homecoming this year when you can come and tour the building. We hope to have the fellowship hall completed by then and we can all eat the fellowship meal together and rejoice in what God is doing in Kansas.
